This was a project I created for Maarja Nuut, who is a fantastic Estonian violinist and singer. For this album she is working as part of a duo with Ruum, an electronic musician. The film was shot on 16mm B/W motion picture stock. I processed half of the footage with elderflower and the other half with rose petals. I then projected the film and captured it on digital HD, slowing the frame rates. The colours are heightened from the natural dyes in the flowers and the stock. The video was used as part of the worldwide release and featured on 6 Music.
