NPG Skill Sharing Partnership
In recent years, I’ve been working with the National Portrait Gallery on several projects, which began with the Votes for Women Anniversary project in 2018; a co-commission with National Trust.
The latest project for the NPG’s National Skill Sharing Partnership saw over 15 short videos created with several of their partner organisations across the UK, (Watts Gallery, Laing, The Beaney, Ulster Museum, Compton Verney, Gainsborough House, Derby Museum, Newstead Abbey, Nottingham City Museums, Northampton Museum and Gallery). The videos are a learning resource aimed at disseminating new ideas and understanding around contemporary curatorial displays, archival techniques & skills, and visitor experience.
People have always commented on how I make people feel comfortable on camera, and the team were very pleased with the results:
“It's been brilliant working with you. I admire your films and your art practice, and have learnt a lot”
